Weight loss drugs (GLP 1 Agonists, Mounjaro, Ozempic etc)
We understand there has been significant media coverage regarding these drugs and their availability. We want to clarify that these medications are not currently available on demand. The Integrated Care Board (ICB) Weight Management and Complex Obesity Service (WMCOS), went live on 16th February 2026 and is now open to new GP referrals. This service will provide comprehensive support for eligible patients.
